Brad A. Guymon

PT, DPT

Brad, a native of Iowa, is excited to have recently moved back to Utah to work as a Physical Therapist and join the UPT team where he trained as a DPT student. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, TX (2021). Prior to that, he attended (BYU) Brigham Young University, UT where he received a Bachelor of Science (2017) in Exercise Science and concurrently a Bachelor of Arts in German Studies. He has been interested in Physical Therapy for over a decade when he himself was injured while playing soccer. Brad is passionate about helping others return to what they love without restriction.

Clinically, Brad likes to focus on manual therapy and education in conjunction with an evolving individualized exercise plan that will help you get back to activities you love and activities you need to perform in your daily independent life. While being treated by Brad, you will see him laugh, be attentive and provide individual care. He provides excellent care and isn’t afraid to collaborate with more seasoned therapists to provide the best care possibly available. He continues to seek out opportunities for growth and development is has enjoyed working alongside our therapists treating the Special Olympic athletes as well as local soccer club and semi-professional athletes with field- side care. Brad is currently taking courses in Functional Dry Needling (FDN) as well as manual therapy.

When not working, Brad enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and two little girls. They love traveling, playing sports (especially soccer and golf), and being outdoors with their two dogs.
